Four Key Elements For Success
- EARN as much money as you possibly can
- SAVE as much money as you possibly can
- REDUCE overhead costs and bills
- INVEST money wisely and make it grow
1. The Student Survival Strategy
Many of us know and have personally experienced what it is like to be a student who lives FRUGALLY and WAY BELOW HIS MEANS.
Such periods in our lives have taught us how to GET MORE out of life with less.
Or to put it bluntly, how to be a complete “tight arse” while still maintaining some level of creature comforts.
When you adopt this mindset and start earning more money as you progress in life, your life will get easier because money and finance problems such as budgeting will be easier to control. This is critical because the cost of living is ever-increasing every year.
Make sure to prioritize HEALTHY FOOD, RENT and BILLS before anything else.
2. Find Local Cheap Stores And Use Discounts
Get to know when your local shop sells certain products and food at discounted rates.
For instance, some supermarkets discount many food products after 7 pm. When you apply this on a weekly basis, you can reduce your monthly food and grocery bill to half of your normal costs.
Take advantage of discounts and vouchers. Buy useful items in bulk to save in the long run. A small 365 ml bottle of water is $3 while 10 litres of the same water might be $8.
3. Don’t Waste Money On Expensive Brands
I’ve never liked fashion and never followed fashion. However, STYLE DOES MATTER to myself and a lot of other men.
You don’t need to buy a pair of jeans that costs $700. There are plenty of stylish jeans that look and fit really well and cost around $70-100.
You can combine these jeans with a pair of stylish shoes and a well fitted shirt for a classy and stylish look.
In regards to shoes, get something that WILL LAST, LOOK GOOD and FEEL COMFORTABLE. Cheap shoes wear out quickly and usually don’t fit well.
I get all of my business shirts, pants and suits when I travel to Thailand. They CUSTOM FIT each and every item of clothing and tailor it to your body size and weight. And the price is usually 1/3 of what you’d pay back in Australia, United States or Europe.
If you still insist on buying expensive jackets and other items of clothing, it’s best to buy during summer and Christmas holidays. These high ticket items are usually discounted by at least 50% off the retail price.
4. Ask Yourself “Do I Really Need That?”
It’s wise to always ask yourself whether you REALLY NEED some expensive toy or another unique consumer item before paying for it with COLD, HARD CASH, or worse, a credit card.
“Is it really worth to spend $1500 on a brand new iPhone, when your existing phone works flawlessly”?
“Should I really buy that sexy looking Mercedes for $80,000 on finance when my paid off Toyota Corolla is barely 3 years old?”
Ask yourself, “What will these expensive toys add to my life?”
If money is no problem then you would not be reading this article anyway, but you are here because you want to take control of your finances and BECOME FILTHY RICH and SUCCESSFUL.
By buying that overpriced phone and overpriced car, you are further digging your own debt grave.
Once you are in heavy debt, you become a CORPORATE SLAVE, those expensive bills will keep you STUCK IN A PERPETUAL RAT RACE.
Always live below your means.
5. Save $1000-$2000 every month
The main goal is SPEND LESS than you earn.
If you earn $2000 a month, and after paying all the bills you are left with $1000, then put that money away and forget about it.
If you don’t touch that money for 5 years, that money will grow to $60,000. Having money stashed away gives you REAL FREEDOM when shit hits the fan or when you lose your JOB (just over broke).
6. Dump Expensive Crap You Don’t Need
When you make a list of all the high ticket items and on-going services in your life that drain you financially, you will help to free yourself from constant bad debt.
This little exercise and planning will make your life is so much more enjoyable, while reducing stress and anxiety.
It could be your overpriced apartment or a big house, or a sports car or even an expensive drug or smoking habit.
GET RID OF THEM, DOWNSIZE or GET HELP TO QUIT.
You will be much better off mentally and physically once you do.
7. Do Activities That Cost Nothing
There are many things you can do that are free or almost free.
Go mountain biking, go hiking in the mountains or take your dog for a huge walk, it doesn’t matter. As long as you feel great while doing it, you are moving your body and getting fresh air.
If you want to stay home, grab a book and start reading. Most people don’t read books and most people are lazy, brainwashed zombies.
8. Build Your Own Business Online

Your online business never sleeps.
You have a limited capacity prostituting your time at work that pays you FUCK ALL. That’s what a job is, selling your time for money.
Jobs are for LOSERS, winners create their own business.
9. Never Buy On Credit
I left this last for a reason, NEVER BUY THINGS ON CREDIT.
If you want a new car, a new laptop, an overseas holiday… SAVE for it and pay in COLD, HARD CASH.
Don’t get a loan and DO NOT put it on your credit card.
I would only resort to take a loan when there is simply no other way, such as when you buy a property. However, even then, you are trapping yourself into a perpetual lifetime of debt. Most houses take 30 years to get paid off and with a whopping interest on top. My life became stressful after I bought my first home. Paying back to the bank $514 every week while my job was paying $700, gave me anxiety and stress.
Conclusion
One of your biggest motivating goals in life should be financial independence.
You should do whatever you can to aim and reach the point where you have enough money ad resources so that you never have to worry about money ever again.
The reality is that financial independence is EASIER TO ACHIEVE TODAY than it has ever been before. With the power of the internet you too can make it happen. Your goal is to ACQUIRE WEALTH and RESOURCES and use it to enrich and improve your life and the closest people around you.

I try to live as minimalistic as possible but buying all this grass fed beef is expensive lol.. My future plans in 3-4 years is to save up for a down payment on a shit house, fix it up nice and move into the basement while i rent out the upstairs. Their rent should more than cover the mortgage payment and meanwhile i have no housing expenses. that’s the dream. also I’m choosing to not go to college so that’s a fat chunk of change in my pocket
Where you from Veneer? I like the way you think, uni is only OK if you become a doctor, lawyer or another highly specialized and demanded occupation.
For sure, alot of my pals are going to university and I ask them what are their plans for their career. Not one has given me an answer and they reply “I’ll figure out what I want to do after I graduate” lol. I’m from northeast USA
